Signing of the contract for the restoration of provincial road 19: Agioneri – Evangelismos

The Governor of Thessaly, Mr Konstantinos Agorastos and the representative of the contractor company TEDRA, Mr. Giannis Tolios, signed the contract for the construction of the project  “Restoration of provincial road 19: Agioneri – Evangelismos (Elassona) by natural disaster”. The project has a total budget of 700,000 euros and is funded by the Thessaly PIP.

The Governor of Thessaly stated that: “Another useful and substantial project for the region of Elassona which contributes to the smooth transportation of people and safe transport of goods, is being launched. This project improves the National Road accessibility (Evangelismos) to Longa. Specifically, there will be asphalting and maintenance of a 7 km road network, whereas special bars will be placed at the dangerous points of the road network. This project improves the road network in the area and at the same time creates leverage in the local economy by creating new job openings”.
