Distinction of TEDRA group in EBAE
TEDRA group received an award for the “Product & Services” category at the European Business Awards for the Environment, which are organized by the Panhellenic Association of Environmental Protection Companies (PASEPPE) on behalf of the European Commission.
The reference project is an anaerobic wastewater treatment plant, using BIOTHANE VEOLIA Memthane® technology, with the production of methane-rich biogas and CHP unit for the dairy industry BIZIOS SA.
This proposal provides a solution to the environmental problem of the food industries without operating a biological treatment plant, ensuring the energy needs of the company through the production of biogas, while reducing its environmental footprint.
This distinction aims to award collective effort by TEDRA’s group staff and also its vision and strategy, which aim to promote good environmental practices in all aspects of its activities.
Due to exceptional circumstances, resulting from COVID-19, the awards ceremony took place online on Wednesday, May 19th, 2021.
