Contracts signed for the construction of environmental infrastructure projects in the island of Milos

On Wednesday, 20th & 27th December 2023, were signed two contracts for the construction of the sewerage network and Wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) of the Municipality of Milos, between the Mayor of Milos, Mr. E. Mikelis, and the Chairman and CEO of TEDRA Group, Mr. I. Tolios.

The environmental infrastructure projects, of highest importance, concern the construction of sewerage network of Adamantas settlement and the wastewater treatment plant of the Municipality of Milos, and include:

  • The sewerage network in the settlement of Adamantas, that is, the internal sewerage network and the central pipelines of two sewage pumping stations, with a total budget of €5,208,000 (including VAT). The total deadline for the completion of the project is set at twenty-four (24) months.

  • New disposal and reuse projects of the WWTP of the Municipality of Milos for the artificial recharge of the underground aquifer through wells, as well as two new sewage pumping stations in the settlement of Adamantas, with a total budget of €7,440,000 (including VAT). The duration of the project implementation is 24 months from the signing of the contract.
