Contract signed for the construction of a solar sludge drying plant for the WWTP in Lamia

The contract for the construction of the “Solar Sludge Drying Plant for WWTP in Lamia”, with a total budget of €7.378.000,00 (including VAT), was signed between the President of the Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Lamia, Mr. S. Koutsovelis and the representatives of the contractor company J/V “TEDRA – GOLIOPOULOS S.A.”, Mr. I. Toliou and Mr. K. Goliopoulos.

The project aims at the more rational management of sludge, with modern methods and technologies, in order to reduce the environmental footprint in the wider area.

The project will be completed within twenty-eight (28) months starting from the contract date.
