Contract signed for the construction of a pre-selected biowaste composting unit in the region of Arta

On Thursday April 15th 2021, was signed the contract for the construction of a pre-selected biowaste composting unit, of a total budget of € 3.055.000,00 approximately. The contract was signed between the regional Governor of Epirus, Mr. Mr A. Kachrimanis and the Chairman and CEO of TEDRA Group, Mr. G. Tolios. It is worth mentioning that from the total budget of the project, about € 1.500.000,00 will be funded by the INTERREG IRA CBC Cross-Border Territorial Cooperation Program “Greece- Albania 2014-2020”.

This is an environmental project of high importance for the municipalities of the region of Arta and Preveza, as the unit will compost organic waste from green maintenance operations of public and private sector.

The execution time of the project is estimated 18 months starting today.
