Contract signed for the construction of a solar sludge drying plant for the WWTP in Kalamata

The contract for the construction of the Solar Sludge Drying Plant in WWTP of Kalamata, with a total budget of €6.428.500,00, was signed between the President of the Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Kalamata, Mr. A. Vassilopoulos and the representative of the contractor company J/V TEDRA – T.E.S. S.A. , Mr. I. Toliou. The project is financed through the EU Recovery and Resilience Fund for Greece.

It is a project of the utmost environmental importance, which upon completion, the Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Kalamata will be able to manage 5,000 tons of sewage sludge per year in the new facilities that will be constructed.
