The Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), is located in the Municipality of Lamia.

The applied treatment method is the system of activated sludge with prolonged aeration with simultaneous complete stabilization of the sludge, biological removal of nitrogen (nitrification – denitrification), as well as biological and chemical phosphorus removal.

The operation of WWTP offers both high quality requirements of the treated sewage effluent, as well as smallest amount of sludge produced for collection.
