Contract signed for the construction of sewerage networks in Nea Aghialos

Today, on March 19th, 2019, the contract for the start of the construction of the sewerage network of Nea Anchialos, a major project for the region of a budget of 7.5 million euro, was signed between the Mayor of Volos, Mr. Beos and the contractor TEDRA,Mr. Tolios. Τhis is a huge life project for Nea Anchialos and the citizens, Mr. Beos mentioned.

The pipelines connecting Nea Anchialos and the surrounding settlements with the WWTP of Volos will cover thirty-five kilometers. This environmental management and sewage project aims to meet the European directive. A definitive solution will be given to the chronic problem of sewage sludge in Pagasitikos, a project that will help protect the Pagasitic Gulf, a project on the environment for public health which, with its completion, will stimulate the local economy. Mr. Giannis Tolios, Chairman and CEO of TEDRA Group, the project contractor said that he gave a 65% discount on the project and is about to be implemented within 30 months.
